Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReelSave mobile application (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. What ReelSave Is
ReelSave is a free utility that helps you save publicly-visible Instagram reels to your own device's gallery for personal, offline viewing.
ReelSave is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms, or any of their subsidiaries.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use ReelSave only for personal, lawful purposes. Specifically:
- Save your own reels for backup or offline viewing.
- Save publicly-visible reels you have permission or fair-use rights to download.
- Do not redistribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any reel you download through the App.
- Do not use the App to circumvent privacy settings on Instagram, scrape content at scale, or impersonate others.
- Do not use the App in violation of Instagram's Terms of Use or applicable copyright law.
You — the user — are solely responsible for what you download and how you use it.
3. Content and Copyright
- The App does not host, store, or distribute any reel content. All downloads are saved directly to your device.
- Reels remain the intellectual property of their original creators.
- ReelSave does not grant you any rights to the content beyond what the original creator and applicable law permit.
- If you are a creator and want a tool like ReelSave to be unable to download your content, set your Instagram account to private — ReelSave only handles publicly-visible reels.
4. Limitations of Service
ReelSave depends on Instagram's public structure to resolve reel URLs. As such:
- The App may not work for every reel (private accounts, restricted content, region-locked content, deleted reels).
- The App's resolution backend may experience downtime, rate-limiting from Instagram, or temporary failures.
- We do not guarantee any specific quality, speed, or availability.
- Instagram may change its platform at any time, which may temporarily or permanently affect the App's functionality.
The App is provided "AS IS", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
5. Premium Features
The App may offer optional paid Premium features in the future. Premium subscription terms, billing details, and refund policies will be presented at the time of purchase and governed by Google Play's billing terms in addition to these Terms.
6. Your Account and Data
You do not need to create an account to use ReelSave. We do not collect personal information from you. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Termination
We may, at our discretion, suspend or terminate access to the App's backend resolver if:
- You attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- You use the App in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- Any reel can be successfully downloaded.
- Downloaded reels will remain playable indefinitely (formats change, codecs change).
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REELSAVE AND ITS DEVELOPER PRINCE TRIPATHI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (WHICH, FOR FREE USERS, IS ₹0).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReelSave and its developer from any claim, demand, or liability arising out of:
- Your use of the App.
- Content you download or share through the App.
- Your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights (including Instagram's Terms of Use).
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the App or these published Terms. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in your registered city of use.
